Jiawei was founded in 1993 by a group of PV experts, it’s headquarter is in Hong Kong, with offices and factories in China. Jiawei factories in Shenzhen and Wuhan produce Jiawei brand off-grid modules, OEM solar PV cells and modules for major companies around the world including SunPower, and other tier 1 PV companies in US and Europe; factory in Beijing produces OEM ingot and wafer for contract customers. Our PV system team develops projects locally in Hong Kong and has already got some references.
Jiawei’s current module production capacity is 630 and will be increased to800MW by the end of 2011, putting it in the top tier of solar manufacturers worldwide. With its pioneering background and stringent approach to quality control Jiawei has won certification for its products from the world’s major testing and certification bodies, including TUV, UL, JET, IEC and CE. This is why we have been trusted to manufacture modules for leading global solar companies, such as SunPower, and others tier 1 PV companies in US and Europe.
